This may sound stupid but I have installed and unziped all the files and tried running it but I get a pop up message saying "BioNes cannot initialize keyboard."
Please help

You've got me.
If you are running in Windows it should run fine. Never heard of a problem before. You might try deleting the .ini file and see if it rebuilds it when you start up.
