I remember this song from say 1987 or 1988 called That's What Love Can Do. It goes "that's what love can do, break my heart in two and leave my cry'in. If that's what love can do I'm letting you know, I'm letting you go." It an upbeat song. It was done by a female. I don't know if it was solo or a girl group something along the lines of Expose. Though I know it wasn't them. Can't for the life of me remember who sings it. The song is not a classic or even a one hit wonder you find on collections. It's quite obscure now. I'm dying to know who this is so I can go buy the darn song. Somebody tell me who sings it. Thanks.

It sounds something like a song done by a band called Ace of Base. The lyrics sound like a song they did called "Don't turn around." Here in the U.K. it was also covered by a band called Aswad, a reggae band

I know it's not Ace of Base and definately not Don't Turn Around. I'm a huge Tina Turner fan, who by the way recorded that song first. I know every word of it. So that's not it. Boy Krazy, hmmm, I will check that out and will be forever grateful if it turns out to be them. Never heard of them before. No wonder I was racking my brain! Thanks to both of you for the help.

You were right! I checked Amazon and they have it. It's newer than I thought, 1993. I will check out my local music store and see if I can find it there. If not, I'll buy it on Amazon. I never thought I'd figure this out. I heard this song about a year ago driving down the highway. I thought, oh yeah, I remember this song. I love it. I scribbled down what I could remember of the words later. They never said who it was though and it's driven this boy crazy! Thank you SO much for solving this mystery for me. I can rest in peace for now! Thanks again.
