1 SLICE OF PIZZA WAS 50 OR 75 CENTS IN NEW YORK.
THE 80'S IS YESTERDAY TODAY AND TOMORROW FOR ME
I ESPECIALLY LOVE 1984 AND 1985! MADONNA 'S INTO THE GROOVE  AND HEAVY METAL'S  TWISTED SISTER
I LOVED MY GIANT BOOMBOX !!
I WAS 14 YEARS OLD THOSE WERE THE DAYS.

I agree with the last post..and even when you bought a pack of baseball card then you got a stick of gum with them.....it was so hard you could hardly chew it, but you got something extra.....lol

The day Bazooka Joe became more than 5 cents was the end of the 80's for me. Ju-jubes were 1 cent each, a bag of Tostitos would run you 35 cents, a "Snow White" cream soda about 40 cents, hockey and baseball card packs were never over 25 cents, and Big League Chew was at the top of the price list at a wopping 50+ cents. They used to sell this Chinese stick gum in red packaging that would come with a little tattoo for 2 cents. Can't remember the name though...

Is anyone else experiencing a time warp with gas prices?  I've seen it as low as $.87/gallon!  Just like during high school.

steak and kidney pie, a cup of coffee, a slice of
cheesecake and a newsreel.  With enough change left over to ride the trolley from Battery Park to the polo grounds.

I need to find out the prices of some products in the 1980s like milk, eggs, baby food, soda can, coffee, pizza, magazine, ice cream cone, movie ticket, toothpaste, newspaper, gasoline, hamburger for a project I'm doing for my niece. ÊCan anyone help? 1980s Aunt
