Actually there are 3 versions of the music video. There is one kind of in between the two. It is mostly seens from the movie "Bodydouble." |

I'm not gay, but I must say that I enjoyed the risque version video far better! |

Oh man, I remember dancing to this one in a shady bar in germany, they had this huge vid screen on the wall, and they played the risque vid, I also remember seeing the "boring" one at "The Academy" in Boscombe.
So what was it about? Mark O'Toole, the nutty dancer from Frankie, states; "Like, when people ask you what "Relax" was about, when it first came out we used to pretend it was about motivation, and really it was about shagging......"
Relax means different things to different people, to me it was indicative of the times and the new found freedoms...and shagging......it was about not worrying about the norms and mores...it was about being young in a unique time...and it was about shagging....man that risque video!....... |

As a dealer in music videos, I can tell you that there were 2 versions of the music video, "Relax". One was a concert version that everyone saw on MTV. The other was a risque video with many homosexual innuendoes too radical for the "public". My guess, after seeing the video, is that the song is about holding back from having an orgasm during sex. As stated in an interview, the band indicated that the song was about "shagging" and NOT about anger....as often misconstrued by listeners! |

Please tell me what the lyrics to this song mean...
I know they caused controversy and are probably sexual in nature, but wondering which act(s) they refer to.
Any help appreciated... |
