Should've taken a little longer before posting that last.

The number 1 song on May18, 1981 was Bette Davis Eyes, by Kim Carnes.

Well, it has to be one of these 16 songs.  I'll see if I can narrow it down:

Arthur's Theme (Best That You Can Do) - Christopher Cross
Bette Davis Eyes - Kim Carnes
Celebration - Kool & The Gang
Endless Love - Diana Ross & Lionel Richie
I Love a Rainy Night - Eddie Rabbitt
Jessie's Girl - Rick Springfield
Keep on Loving You - REO Speedwagon
Kiss on My List - Daryl Hall & John Oates
Morning Train (Nine to Five) - Sheena Easton
9 to 5 - Dolly Parton
The One That You Love - Air Supply
Physical - Olivia Newton-John
Private Eyes - Daryl Hall & John Oates
Rapture - Blondie
Stars On 45 (Medley) - Stars On 45
The Tide Is High - Blondie
